When do you take on new pupils?

We are always looking to welcome new pupils to TVA. Some classes do have waiting lists but we can discuss this with you. We welcome all pupils from 2.5 years throughout the year regardless of prior dancing experience and will design a personalised timetable accordingly.

Do you have a uniform?
Yes, we have a strict uniform with neat, tied-back hair for all classes and ballet buns and ballet tights for all ballet classes. Uniform must be worn during appropriate classes, warm-ups and rehearsals, and to and from the studio. This is for discipline and health and safety purposes for example ensuring the correct neck and body alinement. Please see below for uniform information. All uniform can be ordered from reception, or some items can be sourced from elsewhere but must be like for like.

What should I wear for my first lesson?

Please wear something comfortable and practical for a full lesson. We ask that you obtain a full uniform within a month of joining us. Don't forget your water bottle!

How can I pay?
Payments for lessons are made to TVA via standing order and payment is due on the 1st of each month. Other payments will be as advised.

Do we pay for holidays?
When we work out the monthly fees for each student, holidays have already been deducted and split across an 11-month period. This means, all 11 payments throughout the year will be exactly the same and taken on the 1st of each month.
 

Do you offer classes during half term or holidays?
TVA follows the Wirral academic timetable and closes during all school holidays. We occasionally hold extra workshops and masterclasses available for pupils during the holidays. Please follow our monthly newsletters to stay up to date for future events.
